Dusk Views

Here are a couple of shots taken last week from the roof of the Central Africa House development in Victoria.

This first image was shot on an overcast evening at the beginning of the week. The clouds were blocking most of the natural light and it created a bit of a muddy mix of colours as the lights from the capital bounced around below.



I revisited later in the week when the cold weather had arrived and the skies became clearer. I arrived early enough to shoot the low winter sun hitting Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament. As the sun set, the dusk view became cooler and bluer than before, with the evening sky overcoming the artificial light. Definitely worth the revisit.
